I have waited for this day to come for a while. I can't tell you how proud I am of you Nikkie and what a great mom you are to Brady already. Watching you today touch her and love her was a blessing. I can't wait for the day to come to watch you hold her and rock her in your arms.It will be here sooner than we think.I also Know Brady is waiting for that day also. May the Lord continue to watch over her and you in the Days ahead. I love you and can't wait till I get to hold her and Dallas together and rock them just lke I use to rock you and Kasey. I love you and I'm praying for you Erik and Brady. Sharing Brady with Erik was also a great time to see her daddy love and bath her was a treat. I have been following your blogs and updates since the second you said you were in the hospital. Possibly because I knew you when we were so young, and it was amazing that we were going to bring babies into the world around the same time. I know we weren't super close when we were younger, but I just wanted you to know that you have been on my mind nonstop, since this all unfolded. You, Erik, and Brady are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. In the 8th grade, my little brother was born 2 months early and he was in the Memorial NICU for 3 weeks. I know what it is like to try to wrap your head around everything going on, and how hard it is to do that, when your baby, isn't with you at home. Keep your head up, which doesn't seem to be a huge issue for yourself or Erik.:) I'll be thinking about you, and still saying prayers. I'm so glad to hear that she's doing well... even "great".
