A Gift from God
Tonight we spent about an hour and a half with Brady. Most of the time was spent with the isolate top lifted so we had a lot of time to interact. The nurses were quite busy and there were a lot of people around our little area so we weren’t able to hold her tonight. We did, however, get some good photos. We got this shot while we were visiting and I couldn’t resist putting it on the blog. I caught Brady in a yawn and it turned out like this. I can think of quite a few funny captions to put under this one. What does it make you think of?
More pictures from tonight will be on the way tomorrow. Stay tuned! ![]()
Brady Faith was brought into this world 12 weeks premature. This was a result of mommy having pre-eclampsia and there being a reverse blood flow to/from the placenta. Brady wasn't growing like she should and it would have just gotten worse. She weighed 1lb 7oz and was 11 3/4in long. To learn more about Brady and her family click here.

What a blessed and wonderful vist Nikkie and I had last night with Brady Faith. It was exciting to see my baby girl holding her baby for the first time with me there. She had gained another oz and is now a whooping 1lb 9oz and is taking 5ccs of milk now.
It has been the most scary, wonderful, and exciting 2 weeks since our baby girl came into our lives. She is such a joy to watch and you can just see her little personality developing already (big attitude) every time we see her.
I am so proud of Nikkie and Erik even through the rough times, the love and understanding they show for each other is amazing. I could not have picked a better husband for Nikkie, he has really demonstrated his love and faithfulness since she entered the hospital and had Brady.
I would like to thank Rothwell for all the support, calls, and hugs durning this time. Rothwell has an amazing Pastor, I did not have to call Bro. Devin; he and Carol always seemed to appear whenever we needed them.
I would also like to thank David my boss, he has been so understanding during this time. I would tell him I had to go and he would always say call and let me know if I can do anything. Linda and Jim Stephens are a God send they are always there for Stephen and I and Gayle, who always knows when her sister needs her really bad.
Please continue to pray for our little miracle and her mom and dad untill we can get her home. I love all the comments that are being posted, Nikkie and Erik cannot wait to go on the site and see who has made comments.
Thanks again and God Bless

…and I do love the photo with her wearing your wedding band as a bangle. That is absolutely amazing.
