Tonight our little girl was weighed and measured and she’s finally broke the 2lb mark. She’s now 2lbs 2oz and 13.25in long. It’s so crazy to think that 2 little pounds is such a milestone but it really is! I just got off the phone with her nurse for the night and when I told Nikkie we had a nice celebration hug. Next step – 3 pounds!

In other news Nikkie started work back up today. It’s been 5 weeks since she has been at work and man was it a looooong day for her. After five weeks of not working you kinda forget what it’s like. It makes the 8-hour work day that much longer. We’re also trying to figure out how we will visit Brady during the time we’re both at work. I already realized we’ll have to consciously try to take the camera to work and then to the hospital. Hopefully we can get some new pictures up here soon.

I really would love to get more pictures online more often but there is just so much going on. I’m doing my best to work two jobs right now and we’re also considering a move around the time Brady may come home. Life sure is crazy. I wonder if it ever calms down. I’m not in a hurry to find out though. I’m going to do my best to enjoy these crazy days, months and years.

For now we’ll just take this day by day and pound by pound. Until next time…chao.
