I have to give a shout out to my friend Jordan for giving me the title of this blog. He put a note up on Facebook with the words to a song called “Be Still” and I needed the words to it this morning. It’s a song by StorySide B and is actually my MySpace song. I put it up about 2 weeks ago. I love the song and right now it really defines how I feel.

Brady being sick is really getting to me. It’s so hard to see her struggling in any way. She had to have another blood transfusion and they tried 7 times to get a vein before they had to put the IV in her head. She looks like some experiment gone wrong. They also had to go up on her oxygen AND she has a knot on her arm that is possibly more infection. It just seems like she is at the struggling up a hill and could make it to the top or fall to the bottom.

I have to admit sometimes it’s hard to see God through the pain, which is where I was this morning before I got a reminder from an unknowing friend. I see how God uses people to lift others up. I don’t know why Jordan decided to write this note, maybe God whispered in his ear. All I know is that seeing that song reminded me that God is God, and that he is there for me and never leaves me.
